- At least NZD $1,000 per month if you are paying for your accommodation, or NZD $400 per month if accommodation is prepaid.
- Acceptable proof includes:
- Proof of accommodation prepayment (hotel vouchers or receipts).
- Bank statements or credit card statements.
- Bank drafts or travelers’ cheques.
- Authorities might also ask for details about the source of your funds.
For a stay of up to three months without prepaid accommodation, you need NZD $3,000 in your bank account. With the exchange rate at Rs165.97 per NZD, this equals at least Rs 497,910 in your account.
Health Care Cost Declaration
You must declare that you will cover any health care or medical assistance costs you might incur during your stay in New Zealand.
Visa Processing Time
According to the New Zealand immigration website, 80% of visa applications are processed within four weeks. It is best to apply early to ensure you receive your visa on time for your travel plans.
