Gold prices in Pakistan remained stable on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold holding at Rs. 461,936 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also remained unchanged at Rs. 396,035, providing some stability to the local bullion market after recent movements in gold prices.
The latest figures show that there was no change in the domestic gold rate for the day. The price of 24-karat gold, which is considered the highest-purity form commonly traded in the market, remained close to Rs. 4.62 lakh per tola.
Gold prices in Pakistan are closely followed by investors, jewelry buyers, traders, and households because the precious metal is widely considered a store of value. Changes in international gold prices and the exchange rate can have a significant influence on local rates.
The stability in Tuesday’s prices means buyers and sellers are currently facing no immediate change in the official market rate. However, gold prices can move quickly when international bullion markets experience significant volatility.
Global economic developments, interest rate expectations, inflation concerns, currency movements, and geopolitical tensions are among the factors that can influence international gold prices. Local market conditions and fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee can also affect the price of gold in Pakistan.
For consumers planning to purchase jewelry, the quoted gold rate is an important benchmark, although the final price of jewelry can be higher because of making charges, wastage, design costs, and other applicable expenses.
Investors also closely monitor daily gold prices when deciding whether to buy or sell bullion. Periods of price stability can provide a temporary pause for market participants following sharp movements in either direction.
The unchanged rate of Rs. 461,936 per tola therefore keeps gold at a relatively elevated level for Pakistani consumers. At around Rs. 4.6 lakh per tola, even a small percentage movement in the international market can translate into a noticeable change in the local price.
The APGJSA’s daily rates remain an important reference for the domestic gold market. Consumers should also verify the latest rate before making major purchases because gold prices can change during subsequent trading sessions.
For now, Tuesday’s market update indicates that 24-karat gold remains priced at Rs. 461,936 per tola, while 10-gram gold is available at Rs. 396,035 according to the association.
