HBL renews partnership as title sponsor for PSL 11 and 12

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has confirmed a major development ahead of its next season — Habib Bank Limited (HBL) will continue as the league’s title sponsor for the next two editions.

The renewal ensures that the tournament will retain its iconic “HBL PSL” branding for at least two more years, maintaining continuity for fans and stakeholders as the league enters its next phase.

The announcement was made following detailed discussions between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and HBL executives, marking another milestone in the long-standing partnership that began with the league’s inception in 2016.

Decade-long partnership continues

For the past decade, HBL has played a pivotal role in supporting and shaping Pakistan’s premier T20 cricket league. The brand’s commitment to promoting domestic cricket and nurturing young talent has made it synonymous with the PSL.

According to PCB officials, the renewed agreement underscores HBL’s confidence in the PSL’s expanding commercial value and global viewership.

“The partnership between HBL and PSL has become a cornerstone of Pakistan’s sports identity,” a PCB spokesperson said. “The continuation of this relationship reflects the mutual trust and success achieved over the past ten years.”

The latest extension covers PSL 11 and PSL 12, further solidifying HBL’s place as one of the most prominent corporate supporters of sports in Pakistan.

PSL’s growth trajectory

The PSL has evolved into one of the most-watched franchise T20 leagues in the world, with a strong international following and consistent broadcast viewership. The league has also expanded its digital footprint, with record-breaking online engagement during PSL 9 and 10.

The sponsorship renewal is expected to attract additional commercial partnerships, as the PCB continues to strengthen the PSL brand ahead of its new 10-year franchise cycle, which includes potential new ownership structures and expanded venues.

As preparations for the next season gain momentum, fans can expect more announcements regarding team lineups, player drafts, and match venues in the coming weeks.

With HBL’s backing, the PSL is poised to continue its growth as Pakistan’s premier cricketing event — combining sports, entertainment, and national pride.
