For Pakistani citizens planning a trip to the Land of Smiles, Thailand has simplified its visa process—but with clear financial requirements.

As of January 1, 2025, all foreign nationals residing in Pakistan and Afghanistan must apply for a Thailand visa exclusively through the official Thai e-visa platform. This digital shift removes the need for physical submission of documents, making the process more efficient and accessible.

Apply Online at: https://www.thaievisa.go.th

Once approved, applicants will receive a confirmation email, which must be presented to Thai immigration authorities upon arrival and to the airline before departure.

Visa Fees for July 2025

  • With a confirmed ticket: Rs 19,500
  • Without a confirmed ticket: Rs 27,900

It’s advisable to apply with a confirmed flight booking to save on visa costs.

Bank Statement Requirement

Applicants are required to provide a minimum bank balance of Rs350,000 per person, maintained consistently over the last six months. This financial threshold serves as proof of sufficient funds for travel and stay in Thailand.

Thailand remains one of the most popular international destinations for Pakistani tourists, thanks to its cultural diversity, tropical beauty, and visa accessibility. With this streamlined online system and clarity on financial requirements, planning your Thai getaway has never been more convenient.
